Bischofshofen

The city Bischofshofen (10.100 inhabitants, 550 m above sea level) is placed in beautiful mountain scenery. It is popular for the Four Hills ski jumping Tournament which takes place every year.

Based on the central location – just 50 km away from Salzburg – and the good public transport connections you can reach several ski areas and excursion destinations in just a few minutes by car.

In Bischofshofen and the close surrounding you find several hiking and biking trails and sights like the giant ice world or the flume in St. Johann.
