Dienten am Hochkönig

The village Dienten (1.071 m above sea level, 805 inhabitants) is located at the base of the mountain Hochkoenig in a marvellous landscape.

The ski area Hochkoenig is one of the most beautiful and snow-reliable ski areas in Austria. 34 cable cars and lifts and over 150 km of well-groomed pistes are available. Dienten is also part of the ski area ‘Skiwelt Amadé’, which offers over 830 km of well-groomed pistes and more than 270 lifts in the surrounding area.

Beside skiing you find plenty of other activities like ski tours, winter walking, cross-country skiing, curling, tobogganing or sleigh rides in this region.

In summer you can enjoy the beautiful nature by hiking or mountain biking on one of the innumerable routes around the ‘Hochkoenig’.
