Maria Alm
The village Maria Alm (2.076 inhabitants, 802 m above sea level) is located approx. 5 km east of Saalfelden. Maria Alm is famous for its summer and winter tourism since the 1960s. The ski area is one of the most beautiful of the Alps it is ideal for a great holiday. With 36 lifts and over 150 km of well-groomed pistes it offers endless fun for everybody. Beside skiing and cross-country skiing, Maria Alm invites you to a romantic sleigh-ride in a snowy winter landscape.
Maria Alm is a real hiking paradise in summer. You find over 250 km of hiking and walking trails around the area Hochkoenig. . For sun seekers a visit in the swimming bath Sommerstein is advisable.
